So I haven't posted anything since 2008. I'm wanting to get back into my various creative pursuits, and I'm starting afresh with a new comm for such things. If you'd like to check it out, it's unsophisticat. This comm will stay here, but I won't be updating it.

I've just posted a bunch of hogwarts house icons with Baby-Sitters Club quotes. If that sounds like your kind of thing, feel free to head on over! If not, you're still free to head on over :) knowing me and my taste, many of my icons will probably be children's-book-themed.

I MADE ICONS. I KNOW. WHAT. The last icon post I made was in January. Which is more recent than I originally thought, to be honest.

One thing that makes me sad is that the layout for this journal seems to have been stuffed up, which is sad because it was once so pretty. Must be something wrong with the host of the CSS script. I can't be bothered to fix it, it can just defy the tradition of icon journals by being ugly.

I would like to say that I'll be making icons more regularly again but I can't make that promise! Let's suffice to say that I'll make icons when I feel like it.

2 BSC icons! It's been a very long time, yes, I've been very can't-be-bothered with icon making lately. Please credit ohh_redlace (not isabelquinn) if you use. No hotlinking, remember to credit, etc etc etc.

Now these icons I've been meaning to do for awhile. And I'm really really proud of some of them! CHECK OUT THE HORSE! I DREW and photoshopped THAT! You know, sometimes I just type all this stuff because I'm waiting for the icons to upload. *waits*

Actually, that's not true, the time it takes to get the html sorted is enough time for the uploading to happen. BUT I'm giving this icon-table a whirl this time, because it looks way prettier. So... 12 KT Tunstall lyrics icons!

There's nothing like a deliciously cool day with no uni work to do hardly any uni work to do. I was actually in the middle of making a whole different set of icons (which I'll hopefully have posted later today) when I remembered these things! I scanned a bunch of things like fabric scraps, shirts, scarves etc (even A PLASTIC BAG!!!) to use for bases. And I thought some of them might make nice icons. Some more so than others *muses*. I suppose the knitty scarfey ones are nice for my fellow southern-hemispherians as we descend into wintery crispness.

So here's 20 random & plain, but nice, icons. Please credit ohh_redlace. Guess which ones come from the plastic bag! Answer is under the cut, under the icons, in white. So you'll have to highlight to see it.

As a celebration of my birthday, I'm giving you all a present! That many of you probably won't use ;) but I had fun making them. B*WITCHED ICONS!!! There's only 7, because I was making caps from the C'est La Vie video (which came on their first CD) but it's pretty small with dodgy quality, so what I could do with it was limited. But still, yay! And because not everyone wants to use Corrs icons, here's some Peanuts Gang icons! I'm rather proud of these, because I went looking for things that would make good loops. So there are 6 animated ones and three static. And to save you from counting on your fingers, that's 9 icons.

12 Corrs icons! From the Would You Be Happier and One Night vids. One Night is a really strange video. And not in a good way. There are like three shots of Jim in the whole video, Caroline and Sharon just keep randomly walking around and the whole thing's just too Andrea-centric. Plus you can totally tell that when Andrea's singing at Alejandro Sanz she's in front of a green screen and edited in.

[edit] GAH made one too big! Am fixing as we speak. Or type. Or read. Or... the internet really messes up the whole space/time thing... WHATEVER I'm fixing it NOW.
[edit 2] Okay, fixed. With much kerfuffle. How come, when I delete an image from photobucket and replace it with a different image of the same name, the icon page insists on showing the original icon?

Okay, I am SO proud of myself. I've made some Baby-Sitters Club icons (what else is new, I hear you ask) but I really love some of them. Really, I think the first teaser is the best BSC icon I've made since that Claudia one with the misspellings of squee. The last three icons are just book covers iconified, the rest are funnies. Oh and since it's kinda hard to keep track when they're all bunched together... 1, 3, 4, 5, 8 & 9 are animated. The rest aren't.
